Anyone watch A Good Girl’s guide to murder yet? Is it suitable for 12 yr old?

DD loves detective stories but can’t tell from trailer if this will be too intense. Don’t mind swearing etc

I watched 4 episodes of it this week and thought my 12 year old would love it. It felt a bit cbbc ish for me personally. I got a bit bored. There’s a bit of swearing here and there but it’s not scary or anything. Nothing very sexual - well, as far as I got anyway.

It's fine for a 12 year old.

It was good, but does have drug use and inappropriate relationships so not sure, maybe you should watch it first and decide.
I'm trying to be vague as not to spoil it for others who've not seen it yet

It's quite dark: drugs, rape (murder, obvs!). My 14 year was OK (just) but I don't think I'd have wanted her to watch it when she was 12. It's not Poirot!

BTW you don't see anything explicit but it's all talked about

We are currently watching it. My 12 year old says it isn't very faithful to the books and is getting quite annoyed with it. 4 episodes in and nothing too horrific and certainly nothing they won't be seeing/discussing at school.
