I have been going to a chat room online for over a decade, It used to just be people from all over the world chatting, Now people are openly posting child abuse images, Selling it, asking for it.. There's also people asking to chat to kids etc.
I left the site six months ago as soon as I saw one of the images.. I didn't open it but you could clearly see what it was by the thumbnail, But I do speak to a moderator which is where I am now getting this info.. The mods ban the accounts but they come back instantly so think they are using a vpn.
I'm talking babies and toddlers, they are not alone in the images.. One guy posts images with all his contact details over the images, so his mobile number, his skype etc openly saying he sells it.
They are posting it constantly, you have people asking for kids every other post, you have people claiming to be 12/13/14/15 etc asking people to buy them things in exchange for pictures etc..
Another man posts images of himself and the SAME little boy, Some in a park, some in a hotel room, some sitting on the guys lap etc he looks to be around 7 or 8 and I can't shake the feeling that this might be a kidnapped child or a family member or something equally as bad. This guy is in the uk and posts clear face pics of himself and the child along with the abuse images. They would both be recognised by anyone that might know them if they were to see the images..
I called the police six months ago and gave all the above info and was told the police would start watching the chat.. I have heard nothing since and if I call back I just get told that someone will call me back..
I also contacted the internet watch foundation but didn't have a reply.
The site is used by people all over the world but it based in the usa..
Anything else I can do? I can't just do nothing.
