BUPA gp subscription - does anyone use this service?

I was contemplating seeing a local private GP but she charges £100 per 15 mins.

I’ve just come across an advert for the BUPA gp subscription, it’s just over £16 pm for a 15 min video or phone consultation or around £21 pm for a face to face.

Just wondering if anyone uses this service? Is it worth the monthly subscription? Can you take any prescriptions given to an NHS pharmacy? Can they refer you over for NHS hospital consultations? Etc…

Surely it would have to be a private prescription so you could end up paying less or could be much more for prescriptions

No, it'll be private prescriptions, blood tests, ultrasounds, x-rays etc. You also have to pay the full cost of the drug with a private prescription. Some drugs are very expensive.

You can take the prescription to an NHS pharmacy but you’ll have to pay for whatever the drugs cost.

I just have Bupa healthcare and the GP part comes free.
