Hi ladies. I am a mum and a nanna. Hope it’s ok to join. I lack confidence in my style. Have done since I had me kids (32,28,27,23). I try to be fashionable but feel I constantly get it wrong. I like the long column /t-shirt style dresses that are in at the moment. I’m a size 14 with a tummy. Can I wear this style ??? Help

Why not?

I like your styling with the cropped jacket, but would personally prefer a more skimming cut to the dress, like this:

Or a dress and trousers co-ord look, with this shape t shirt dress over loose trousers or long shorts:

And I’d probably choose chunkier footwear, for a better balance of proportions. Others may disagree!

Not sure if you’re aware there’s a whole Style and Beauty board, here:

SPLIT-HEM MIDI T-SHIRT DRESS

SPLIT-HEM MIDI T-SHIRT DRESS: This navy T-shirt dress is a modern wardrobe hero thanks to its clean lines and minimalist silhouette. Crafted from plush cotton-jersey, it features a ribbed round neckline, dropped shoulders and a split midi hem. Style it...

I think it looks good on you, and goes well with the jacket.

I def recommend posting on style & beauty as mentioned above. Some very helpful posters on there!

I personally wouldn't choose horizontal stripes as they make everyone look wider, but other than that I think the shape of the dress is fine. I think green suits you.
