Food suggestions for nausea and dry mouth

My mum is in hearr failure and one of the medications is making her mouth extremely dry to the point she is struggling to eat. She has no appetite which isn't helping.
She's also started feeling sick which is probably hunger.
Trying all sorts of food but she either can't eat it or just doesn't fancy it.
At the moment She's having magnum ice creams and banana and ice cream!
Doctors have referred her to dietician. Tried changing meds too.
Tried complan and fortisip but she doesn't like them.

Also, would anti nausea meds work? What's the best to try?

Try slippery elm and marshmallow root. You can make a tea with it with chamomile. Can mum eat soups and foods with sauces, like spaghetti bolognaise etc? Also try biotene mouth gel. There is something else a nutritionist recommended to me for a dry mouth and throat, I'll try to find it in my screenshots.

There are anti nausea medications but you could try ginger tea first as a more natural approach.

My mother liked pear juice. Apparently it is much less acidic than other things.

My dad would put sugar in her stews so she found it palatable.

Sucking on ginger sweets, and marshmallow root helped me a lot when I had intense nausea from gastritis.

I found ‘plain smelling’ foods easiest to eat - potato waffles, mash with butter, plain pasta with butter, plain Greek yogurt.

I couldn’t handle the smell of a fruit smoothie but could manage peanut butter & banana smoothies.
