I've never used them before but trying to make my house smell a bit better!

Absolutely recommend Bahloo & Yhi. Emma is a friend but also makes the most beautiful wax melts etc. Good prices too. Currently have "mojito" going and feel like I'm on a tropical beach somewhere not a miserable south coast!

I would go with pure essential oils in a diffuser over wax melts, because I get asthma from some of the extra ingredients in the wax.

I like yankee candle melts. They're cheap and last a while! I find they give off more smell than the candles do (also a good way to test what flavours I like).

Love these.

Yes!! Thunderstorm is the best.

Devon Wick are also good, lots to choose from.

I really like Glass & Wick wax melts, especially their Sea Mist & Driftwood, Green Gig & Vetiver and their Tuscan Lemon Grove ones.

These are my favourites, I keep trying others but nothing comes close. I mostly use Woodstock and Bookstore.

The Aldi Jo Malone dupes are very nice

Utterly love these, last for ages and such unusual scents-used to be a candle buyer but these are so much better

I find these rubbish?
Hardly any smell unless you are sat within 2 foot of it?

Depending where you live, there's a shop in Hampshire called Fig and Fox that sells the most gorgeous wax melts. Really lovely, not too strong, long lasting scent

Aworldofmyown · 05/07/2024 20:05

Also a northern soul scents fan. They last brilliantly.

I find these smell waxy after a few days.

i buy mine from a local garden centre. Ample local sellers there

I'm still dining out on the winter spice wax melts that were everywhere over Christmas. Love that my house smells of Christmas during July.

Redglitter · 05/07/2024 21:34

I buy mine from a local company, who do UK delivery. They're amazing. You can smell the scent even when it's not lit

Scentsy wax melts.

Please don't tell people to buy this MLM scheme shite

WetBandits · 05/07/2024 21:38

I prefer a weaker, sweet fragrance as I’m prone to scent-triggered migraines! I bought a gorgeous-smelling citrusy one from a market stall and had to blow it out after 20 mins as my head was pounding 😂

I found a local seller instead who makes wax melts that smell like the Lush purple bubble bar and it just makes me want to lick it Grin

notacooldad · 06/07/2024 10:08

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll have a look at them in detail this evening.

Scentsy is by far the best I’ve used. They’re on the pricier side, especially the burners but the melts smell amazing and strong. The burners are beautiful and are really well made. Look out for Pioneer Woman melts at Home Bargains etc. They’re less than £1 and they’re brilliant!
