If you had to dress in only one colour for the rest of your life, what would it be?

• Head to toe, including accessories, one colour
• Different shades allowed eg baby blue, navy blue
• We will consider black or white as the easy way out

Green for me

I went to the cinema the other day and didn't realise that, bar my trainers, everything on me was a shade of green, including my bag. Another woman pointed it out (as a compliment) and I remembered reading a magazine feature decades ago on people who had decided to only use one colour in their lives.

Blue… I mean I pretty much own more blue than any other colour but still blue

GoingRoundInTriangularCircles · 04/07/2024 22:54

Greys definitely- dull but it's my favourite clothes color.
Black makes me look pale
Bright colors , I'm not ballsey enough to wear ( no idea why)
White - makes me look huge and dcs would ruin it

purpleme12 · 04/07/2024 22:55

Blue? There are so many different shades

shellyleppard · 04/07/2024 22:55

Definitely purple..... just a lovely colour and it makes me feel happy 😌

NannyGythaOgg · 04/07/2024 22:57

green (right through from almost yellow to almost blue) with lots of khaki (currently seeming to be labelled as army green)

Enko · 04/07/2024 22:57

blue for me if i have to go for a specific shade Carolina Blue or baby Blue

KnickerlessParsons · 04/07/2024 22:57

Black probably.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 04/07/2024 22:59

Burgundy. But would be nice if I could include pinks and oranges.

Butteredtoast55 · 04/07/2024 23:00

Blue in all its glory...azure in summer, navy or baby blue in winter. My friends refer to my wardrobe as 50 shades of blue, from jeans to my blue velvet posh dress and my favourite soft blue roll neck jumper for cold days.

Brandonsflowers · 04/07/2024 23:01

Blue purely for jeans.

I suit navy better than black as well.

CrushingOnRubies · 04/07/2024 23:03

Blue
Because:-
The majority of items in my wardrobe are blue
Denim

TuckingFerrible · 04/07/2024 23:04

I love black because it makes my long silver hair and green eyes POP but if I've got to choose a colour it would be denim blue.

coxesorangepippin · 04/07/2024 23:05

Teal

Normallynumb · 05/07/2024 00:40

Blue.. I wear jeans everyday

Whothefuckdoesthat · 05/07/2024 07:18

Definitely black. If not black, then something dark like navy, or charcoal grey. Khaki would be as bright as I felt comfortable in.

On other people though, I love reds or jewel colours. I also admire those women who look fabulous in creams and camel colours, especially in autumn. They always look really elegant.

purple I love all purple from pale lilac to a deep lush purple
