ITV

Odd I can't find it on BBC website or Channel 4.

tobee · 05/07/2024 00:16

That's coz they (itv etc) do projections rather than bbc declarations

minou123 · 05/07/2024 00:16

Swindon is now on BBC. Labour win

Drummingithometoriesoffyoufuckityfuck · 05/07/2024 00:16

I'm confused. Sunderland Central had no change to Labour from last time.
The conservatives were down 21% and reform up 15%, but the swingometer on BBC was showing as a swing from Labour to reform.

There appears to have been no movement from Labour, so how did they get that figure?
Does anyone understand?

Swindon South, Labour gain, Buckland out

Edited

I thought Swindon South didn’t exist anymore?

Swindon is now on BBC. Labour win

Not yet declared as I understand it.

PerfectYear321 · 05/07/2024 00:17

Well done Swindon! 🍾

Westfacing · 05/07/2024 00:18

BBC missed the Swindon declaration!

Sunflowersinthewind · 05/07/2024 00:18

Come on Swindon!!!!!!!

PerfectYear321 · 05/07/2024 00:18

It feels surreal

We really have got them out

Well done, guys! 😭😭😭

BBC missed the Swindon declaration!

Its in now.

Massive swing
16.4%

RafaistheKingofClay · 05/07/2024 00:19

Steve baker trying his best to make this not the Tories fault on Sky.

NoNoNadaNo · 05/07/2024 00:20

The Swindon swing has made me feel safe enough to go to sleep for a bit!

That level of swing could make things very interesting.

tobee · 05/07/2024 00:22

The speeches aren't as good as the result announcement

He was trying the same on the BBC earlier.

In quite an awkward moment, he was on the BBC when the exit poll.was announced and they told Sreve he probably will be losing his seat. 😬

I would feel sorry for him, but he's a complete tosspot, so I dont.

It is good. But Buckland is a sincere man and well motivated. I hope he will carry on with his work. He t really did try on domestic violence and including autistic people into society.

I hope he stays in the Conservatives and takes them back from the brink

Jason118 · 05/07/2024 00:26

Bucklands defeat speech was excellent, explaining what has gone wrong with MPs attitude over the last few parliaments. Doing, rather than saying.

placemats · 05/07/2024 00:27

That was a moving moment in Swindon South, fair play to both Heidi Alexander and Robert Buckland. It's a real pity he's the first to be crossed of.

He started with WhatsApp and social media blowing things out of proportion and then after Swindon was announced seemed to go off on an argument that might have been the welfare state’s fault.

Yeah, people aren’t voting Tory because benefits are too high and they don’t like free healthcare. Good one Steve.

KatPurrson · 05/07/2024 00:27

The googlebox stuff is actually a lot better than I expected. It’s good fun.

Grantshappsotherusrnames · 05/07/2024 00:29

Farage has just announced that Widdy isn't a representative of Reform Ltd.

Evenstar · 05/07/2024 00:29

I have retreated to bed with a cuppa, but planning to keep watching, I desperately want to mark some Tories off the bingo cards

Jason118 · 05/07/2024 00:31

I'm on an Ed Davey high, bring it on!
