Ideas for nice nibbles

Hi everyone, after several moves and life being generally busy, I'm a bit out of practice hosting. I have some friends over tomorrow, one of DH's long term friends and his pregnant wife. I've met them a few times and like them very much so want to make them feel welcome. However, I've started to over think the food and my mind is going blank so please give me your tips on what you might serve/ would enjoy eating! They are meat eaters, no other dietary requirements except general pregnancy recommendations. They are coming about 5pm for a relaxed hang out type thing rather than a dinner party. We live in a country where it's not expected to cook a whole meal when you have visitors, but something smallish to eat is the norm.

Ideas so far-
Assorted teas ( including no caffeine) & coffee
Some nice pop/fizzy drink
Crisps
Dips & hummus
Crudités
Fruit
nice pregnancy friendly cheese like cheddar
Biscuits
Cake
Maybe savoury and sweet pastries. Would mini Pizzas be naff? ( I like them 😅)

What do you think? Is this enough? Too much? Should I make something a bit more sophisticated or substantial? Maybe a mozzarella salad or tuna pasta salad, or is that bordering on too much like a meal? See the overthinking starting again!

Your suggestions sound fine to me. How about marinaded chicken skewers, as well, since they like meat?

Thank you, that's a great suggestion! Still nibbly but a bit more filling!
