I waddled in to say The House of Eliott too. PP mentioned The Halcyon - I loved that!
Gosford Park, also great. I also love the films Shadowlands, The Remains of the Day and A Room With A View. All gorgeous period dramas. Jeeves & Wooster is superb.

If you'd like some 1930s upper class comedy, Gloomsbury is well worth a listen! It's a radio 4 comedy piss take of the Bloomsbury set.

Not exactly the same but Mr Selfridge. Based on the history of Selfridges. Brilliant.

I binge-watched the mini series “Godless” which includes Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary) as a pioneer woman in a US mining town where all the men were killed in a mining explosion and a posse of bloodthirsty bandits are about to attack.
It was glorious. The photography, the scenery, the characters, the plot. The cast was mostly women playing strong roles but Jeff Daniels was splendid as the impenitent gang leader (this is not my death!).

I used to watch the House of Elliot with my stepmum. Now one of my sons is called Elliot Grin

The Cook of Castemar on Netflix (Spanish with subtitles).

This was fabulous!!
Worth persevering with Bridgerton though - I hated it at first then went back to it and loved it. Now I'm on the spin off Queen Charlotte and it's also excellent.
Bit left of field but I've just started The Durrells and it's got a similar whimsy escapist vibe so far.
Great lists!

1883 and 1923 are utterly brilliant.
Someone’s already recommended Gilded Age I see.

I watched a series on You Tube recently called the Cazalets. Really bloody good.

Loved the Cazalet books! In a similar vein, I suggest The Camomile Lawn.
