What to do in the evenings on sun holiday on my own with young teens?

Any recommendations please for fun things to do in the evenings with my two young teens? I'm going on my own with them to Marbella. The days will fill up with the beach and the pool but I'm stuck for ideas for the evening. We are staying in an Air BnB near the town centre.
I don't have the budget to eat out every night but we will do that a few times and we will walk the promenade with ice creams and will also do movie nights, just wondering if there is anything genius that I haven't thought of?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Card games and some beers, nuts on the balcony? That was always a good holiday for me. Bit of music in the background.

The mini golf is really good & fun to put in a couple of hours maybe after evening meal! Also we did a sunset boat trip one night which was amazing! Could spend a night at the beach with snacks! X

Walking around the marina and people watching.

Creperie by the water but that would be a treat as £££

We like to play games in the evenings we don't go out. Like Uno, dominoes etc.

There is sometimes basketball hoops in park areas beside the beach, used to do this with DS, buy cheap football.
Or find a nearby nice hotel bar with a pool table/games area

Get takeaway food and head to the beach for sunset one night?

We used to play Uno a lot on holidays like that. Or simple card games. Or backgammon and chess.

You could make mocktails with them and sit around chatting - we used to ask a question everyone had to answer in turn, like what would you spend £1million on if you had to spend it all on yourself? or all in one day? And what if you had to spend it all on other people? Or on strangers to make the world better? What is your dream fantasy house like? My DC loved those conversations. They'd go from being silent teens to as chatty as young children.

You could take a picnic to the beach and watch the sun go down, or even do some swimming by moonlight as long as it's very safe with no currents.

Bring some easy to read books for everyone.

DC liked that I didn't mind if they spent hours on their phones in the evenings on holidays. I read, they chatted to mates or gamed.

Pizza on the beach

Play Uno. Still do now and they are early 20's now.

Teach them to gamble.

Whist, backgammon, lots of card games.

Cards against humanity is probably too old for them.

Exploding kittens is good.

Meadowfinch · 04/07/2024 16:28

I'll be doing the same in the Algarve, OP.

Card games, people watching, Nintendo switch for ds.Book and a glass of wine on the balcony

I take my sketch pad and pencils with me.
