Thorpe Park - first visit

We’ll be travelling from North Wales to visit with 2 coaster mad tweens who love the coasters at Alton Towers..

We have to go in the summer holidays so are prepared for crowds, I’m saving for the fast passes, my question is with the fast pass bundles is it 1 ride of any 5 coasters? We can’t afford the unlimited one so are looking at the bundles or buying individual ones when we’re there, which looks like it gives you 1 ride per attraction for a set time?

Will 1 day be enough? Can you get it all in? We plan to travel down the night before & stay in the cheapest place we can find! That’s looking to be the premier inn at Staines.

Is there anything else round there that’s nice to do before we leave the next day?

You could nip down to Windsor on the train (approx 15 mins from Staines) if that's your sort of thing.

Get there as soon as it opens, prepare for an hour queue per ride. There's no shade so have sun glasses, sun cream etc. picnic in queues. If it's a rainy day buy a poncho thing from the pound shop, they are really expensive there.
