Do you think DD's eyes will stay this colour?

DD is almost 8 months old and has a slate gray eye colour with a dark blue ring.

My eyes are brown with a dark ring, DP's eyes are bright blue with no ring and DS's eyes are brown like mine.

I think her eyes are beautiful, just interested to know if they'll change hue.

I think those will go brown.

My dd's were like this at this age. They're hazel coloured as an adult.

My dc2 had eyes exactly like this but they did change to very dark brown eventually.
I have very dark brown eyes and dh has blue/grey eyes.

DD’s were like that as a baby and they’re hazel now but they didn’t settle fully until 3

Our babies had gun metal grey eyes until about 11 months when they started turning brown, odd fleck at first.

I was gutted

And have continued to express my disappointment at them to this day 😀(They are teens now)

Probably change as they are just standard ‘baby eye’ colour. Most babies seem to have a darker band around them I think?

Sorry I don’t do eye colour fishing for compliments posts, I think they’re weird! Most eyes are just examples of a pretty limited range of general colours. It is extremely rare that you see anyone with an eye colour that isn’t totally unremarkable.

I was thinking they may turn brown or hazel which is what I'm secretly hoping for as me and DS have brown eyes, would love for us to all have the same. Not fishing for compliments at all, just interested in what colour people think they may change to. Just a lighthearted thread. 😊

Very interesting to read comments from other posters that this shade of blue actually changed, to me it looks like typical blue eyes that will stay like that, lovely BTW 😍

I thought I would update! Over a year later and DD's eyes are this colour. Not sure what colour these are even classed as. Hazel perhaps?
