Funded childcare - 30 hours?

Sorry quick question, my son currently gets 15 hours funded childcare but will be able to claim 30 hours soon when he turns 3. Do we need to reapply again to get a new code, or will it just automatically go up to the 30 hours?

you renew your code every 3 months, dont you. just continue to do this, and it should all be fine.

You will use the same code which will entitle you to 30 hours from the term following the child's third birthday.
As others have said just keep reconfirming every three months so it remains valid.
