Period started early! Will taking Norethisterone 3x per day stop my period?

Hey ladies,
I bought Norethisterone to delay me period as I’m going on holiday on Friday and I’ve come on early! I had already taken my first tablet before it started this morning. If I continue taking 3 tablets per day will this stop my period?
