Hi there
I was missing the adult meeting with the teacher. What will be the consequence? Will my son still be able to attend reception in September if I missed this meeting?

There will be no consequence other than you may not have all the information about him starting that you wanted. Of course he can still attend. If we stopped children going to school because parents didn't attend meetings, classes would be half empty.

Of course he can still start! Didn't go for one with ds2 as ds1 was already at the school. Just means that there will be some bits of info you may have wanted which you won't know for the start of term unless they send you a letter.

No consequences! Our school gave packs out with settling details and some forms to fill in, but they pass these on if you miss the meeting. Others do it differently.

Email the school and ask what information you need to collect later today

Yes, that's it I'm afraid
He can't attend a UK school now.
You'll have to send him to Cambodia.

Phone the school first thing and apologise for missing the meeting.

Ask them what you’ve missed and if there’s anything you need to do.
