PGL camps/holidays - which one is best? (Boreatton or Merchant's Hill)

I'm planning to book 10 year old DD into PGL camp for 7 nights and we've narrowed it down to Boreatton in Shropshire or Merchant's Hill in Surrey. Anyone have any experience of these?

Merchant's Hill is closer, seems a bit smaller and more relaxed. Boreatton is +1.5 hours away but is a big property with lots more to do, although potentially less personal.

Any experience of these or other PGL camps you'd recommend would be welcome. I'm in the SE but willing to drive if worth it!

Hi OP, you've probably already made your decision by now but I just saw this thread and wanted to say my DD is at Marchants Hill right now and LOVING it!
