Threadworms and mattresses

hello, this is, admittedly my second worm based post. So, sorry. I have ocd with a particular fear around parasites so this stuff is really getting to me - please be kind! Discovered my eldest had worms a little while ago. Took the meds, had no worms on them at night for a week now. Great stuff. This evening whilst I was putting the youngest to be my eldest pulled his mattress off the bed and on to the floor. His pjs underneath it. I don’t know whether I need to be worried about this or not. My ocd brain envisions clouds of eggs spraying across the room and all over as the mattress drops.

You would have had a sheet on the mattress so therefore the mattress is eggless - also the sheet probably too if he had pyjamas on.
