Anyone had issues with Etsy sellers?

Placed an order a few weeks ago, I've gone to check it and now the seller "no longer sells on etsy".

I had this last year as well (different seller).

Issues with a seller the year before as well...(still on etsy but didn't receive anything)

Have I just been unlucky or is it often the case?

Raise a case with Etsy, Etsy will refund you,

I've had a few issues (ordering lots for wedding!) and Etsy have always just refunded me right away

I've messaged seller, but can't so anything for a day or so...

I was mostly just wondering if it was the case of I've been unlucky...or I should I avoid using it!

I've never had someone not send me what I ordered. There were some sellers who have since disappeared who I either bought from or was considering buying from. I think some might have been a dropshipper.

My issue has been that even when they 'make it to your measurements', they don't quite. I'm slim and tall with wide shoulder - they do all right for the shoulders, which is my main concern, but I've had to have tops taken in at the sides, despite giving measurements.

I've had one who sent me the wrong order and reluctantly gave me a refund when I kept chasing for my order.

I've had 2 now where I've placed an order and they've disappeared from Etsy.

It's not even like I buy a lot from there.

I use it quite a lot and, touch wood, have never had any issues.

Folksy is supposed to be quite good. Like Etsy but without the crap from Amazon at ten times the price.
