This sounds like a non-problem but it's causing friction. What do you do in this situation? We are comfortably off, not a lot of spare cash and 3 kids. Most of my kids' friends are in the same boat. Ds14 though has somehow made friends with millionaires and is often invited on days out we can't afford! At the moment we are trying to balance things out by inviting said friends around for dinner etc but it's getting a bit ridiculous. I don't want to stop ds socialising but I also don't want him to take advantage. Aargh! Wwyd?
