How long for property searches to come back?

I know this can probably vary, but online is giving me a variety of answers.

We are waiting for searches to come back on the property we are buying, and also the searches on the house.

We are all ready to go apart from the searches (3 house chain but only 2 buying )

Just looking for some people's experiences with this

I do the searches for our local council. Current turnaround is about 10-15 days for us although it does go up and down depending on the numbers we have to do and annual leave etc. It has been quicker than this but also a lot worse. Also worth noting that most solicitors don’t deal with us directly but use a search agent to process the results so this also adds to the time it takes. Hope things get moving for you soon
