Recommendations - Liverpool

Myself and DH are going to Liverpool on Sunday for one night for his birthday. We've been a couple of times before.

I'd like to book a nice but not extortionate brunch for the Sunday as a treat.

Any recommendations? We're not fussy about food but he does really like Mexican or Greek food.

The Tavern on Smithdown Road (86 bus from city centre stops right outside) has been rated No1 in the country for breakfast. They do traditional English breakfast, a Mexican egg thingy and lovely pancakes. Fairly cheap too, oh and tea and coffee is free. You'd need to book though as it gets hugely busy at the weekend. https://www.tavernco.co.uk
