Can wisdom tooth pain cause earache?

Last week I swallowed and felt the acute pain of tonsillitis on one side. Later on that day the gum around my wisdom tooth on the same side began to feel aggravated. Today my ear feels like it’s beginning to ache. My tonsil still feels sore and my gum is inflamed and also still painful. Is it possible that it’s all radiating from the tooth? It’s unlikely that everything on the left side only is starting to be painful so I reckon they must be caused by the same one thing but what could have kicked it all off?!

Yes. Definitely, see a dentist asap. And use corsodyl gel on the affected area.

Yes absolutely.

My DD had an issue with the top of her spine, it was first diagnosed as an ear infection, when that didn’t clear they sent us to the dentist and said she might be grinding her teeth! Eventually a CT scan diagnosed spinal but my point being that the whole area is attached and can cause pain in the whole area.

Yes.

I have also had issues with my teeth and ears when I've had a sinus infection. I'd get checked out by either GP/dentist.
