Bread board with high sides?

I use a breadmaker but slicing the bloody bread is a nightmare - crumbs everywhere forever until the load is gone. I have googled in vain for a solution like a high lidded board to slice on that would keep crumbs contained. What does everybody else do?

Ah now I have a clunky solution.

Bread board placed inside a rectangular oven tray. I had to do some measuring in the local pro cook store, to get the nearest 'fit'.

It is ugly, but non-crumby.

My Welsh nanna used to saw her bread with the loaf clutched to her bosom, with violin style bowing (alarming!)

Isn't it difficult to slice the bread though (either with this option or the sort of board the op is suggesting?

I use one which has slats and then a fitted base to catch all the crumbs. Yes they still go over the sides but it catches most of the crumbs.

You kind of work with it, rotate the loaf to get the bottom inch off.
