It's the only possible explanation. Two lots of Household Cavalry horses bolting through London. That very naughty horse at the Trooping of the C. The naughty drum horse at the Coronation. Princess Anne getting kicked.....oh, and Anne's horse at the T of the C was a bit---fidgety to say the least....

More likely inadequate horse and rider training.

Queen Elizabeth was a fantastic horse woman. She worked with Monty Roberts and had a great understanding of the body language that horses use to communicate.

I think it's easy to forget that horses are large, powerful and potentially dangerous animals if they are not handled correctly (and no, you wouldn't get me up on one).
