NC

Things have needed to change with me for a while I WFH FT and just about manage to drag myself out of bed, last minute at around 9.30am. Feeling sluggish and crap as I switch on my PC to start work, still half asleep, wearing the tatty clothes, not showered/washed/teeth/hair brushed. I am binge eating/eating everything in sight. This has to stop.

From today:

Shower/brush teeth/quick & simple face on every day & hair brushed. I feel refreshed, ready for the day and better in myself for it. Also happy to turn on my camera for work if needed.
Binned my very tatty and stained and thinning joggers. Have brought some decent ones and a few vest tops to wear when WFH.
Doing IF.
Drinking more water.
Trying to focus on work and not get distracted. I am v v easily distracted.
No more work procrastinating.

I just hope I can keep all this up.

Anyone else resonate ?

Good for you!!! I'm also committing to living the life I deserve today!! Will come back to update but I'm meant to be getting ready.

Best of luck!!

Oh yes I can definitely identify with this! Working from home is not the best for feeling confident and put together. I only really make an effort if I know I’m going to be appearing on screen. The action points you have raised sound great!

Good luck op. Can you post here each day and hold yourself accountable? I am going to the gym for the summer!

I'm trying to give up sugar (again!!)

great thread, good luck!

I’m going to sort my house out, it’s fairly clean but there’s piles of ironing, some rooms need a deep clean and a bathroom needs painting. I’m aiming to have that done by the end of August.

But I’m doing 30 mins a day on the house. Think that’s achievable without being too much to add in.

I did the same after Easter due to a health scare. I’ve started eating better and walking every day, even if it’s just the longer route round to the shops and back, it all helps.Try and get out in the nice weather if you can. I find the app Map My Walk really helpful too x
