Are there any legitimate work from home jobs ?

I am a supply teacher . The school holidays are coming up , which brings a lot of stress as I do not have any teaching work and I’m not salaried . I don’t have holiday pay as the supply pay is quite low so I can’t afford to put it by from my weekly wage.

I have a summer job that I usually do 2 days per week - it’s very low paid and long hours and it doesn’t bring in anywhere near as much as supply . It’s also difficult as I don’t have a car right now - I may do during the summer but I’m not certain , so it’s taxis to get there and then additional childcare.

Is there any kind of work from home job - does anyone do anything like this ? I know a lot may suggest tutoring but I think with how close the holidays are I don’t have enough time to prepare for that and from what I see it’s not a thing that’s as popular as you would be led to believe .

I don’t expect to make lots , minimum wage would be fine . I obviously have a lot of skills as a teacher, and if it existed then an admin role would be perfect .. but all I seem to keep finding sites that are about online surveys and cash back or scam sites !

Any help would be appreciated.
