Pip review

is anyone in the process of pip review? Are there still long delays?

Just completed mine. Decision took just over a year. Was paid normally during that time.

I filled in my son's Pip review form 10 months ago. His award was meant to be reviewed by the end of July 2024.

We've just had a letter to say they've not done his review yet but have extended his award to July 2025. Payments will continue til then but the review could take place at any time.

They must have a huge backlog. I've never known a delay so long.

I've just received my review form to complete and return by 1st August. I'm assuming I'll be caught up in the same backlog as you all.

Those of you several months down the line, did you have to have another telephone or in person assessment?

I didn't have either. On the award letter it said paper based assessment as adequate evidence provided. It's def worth providing all the evidence from professionals when you submit the form.
It didn't make the process any quicker though & I waited just under a year.
