Nice pot pourri or similar to scent a room

I suffer from sinusitis and can't tolerate air fresheners, plug ins or reed diffusers as the oils irritate my nose linings. Incense is also too strong. I have a couple of scented candles, but they're too artificial smelling. I can cope with most essential oils so like natural scents really.

Can anyone recommend something nice I can get to give a subtle and natural scent to the living room? I like lavender and rose for example. I don't want anything cheap or artificial. I can't be doing with that Scentsy oil electrical type thing either.

I have had cinnamon and orange pine cones at Christmas and I was okay with them. I have had pot pourri in the past, but I'd need one that I can refresh with a natural essential oil.

Any ideas for a DIY method welcome too or a good quality product.

What about an indoor lavender plant? Put it somewhere it gets plenty of sun, water occasionally. Continuous natural scent, costs about £4 from the garden centre plus maybe a tenner for a nice pot?

I didn't know they did indoor ones 😃 I'll take a look. I already have pots and potting compost.
