It's my and my husbands 10 anniversary in August, he is taking me away.
I am currently 68kg at 5ft 2, so I know I'm overweight. Trying to cut down on snacks etc, but my stomach is main issue.
Any advice on how to lose a bit of stomach fat and lose weight! I do have a treadmill in my garage and some dumbbells! Thank you

You need to reduce calories overall, there isn’t anything exercise wise that will make you lose stomach fat, exercise will help you tone up all over but isn’t brilliant for weight loss.

You would need to reduce calories to around 1,300 per day to lose weight based on your TDEE. Cutting down on snacks is a good start, but reduce portion sizes overall and making dietary swaps will help kick start weight loss. Reducing sugar is generally good for shifting bloat on the belly too.

There are lots of helpful people on TikTok doing recipes for filling high protein, low calorie meals that might be helpful.

A calorie deficit is the only way to really lose weight. All the other diets have a calorie deficit at their heart. Use my fitness pal to track daily calories. There are calculators online that can work out how many calories you'd need to consume daily to lose 1lb/2lb a week.

Toning up - could you join gym and do classes like body pump, body tone etc?

Thank you both, joining the gym is maybe a option, but i think I would rather do exercise at home. I am going to reduce calories from tomorrow, and no snacking!
