Just catching up and watching Coldplay at Glastonbury last night. One thing is jumping out at me... less phones!
While there are certainly plenty phones still visible, I swear there are WAY less phones and a LOT more people just going for it and being present enjoying the gig. They have these glow wristband thingies (looks cool actually) but I definitely see less phones being held filming - some in hand but not being used.
Anyone else see this? Or was anyone there and can confirm? I'm really hoping it is the start of a tide-turn. It just seemed that the crowd were so much more into it and enjoying it as we used to and I'm so happy seeing that!
I miss the days of crowds just going for it and participating rather than just watching gigs through a screen. I'd love it if there was a shift back to this kind of vibe. It was so much more fun. 😁
