Has anyone had a 2w breast clinic referral in Birmingham?

Hi everyone, I’m being sent on a 2 week referral to the breast clinic for a lump, and was wonderign what to expect, in particular if they’ll tell me that day if it’s cancer. I’ve advanced search and have found some threads but seems that it varies by hospital and I can’t find any info about Birmingham.

If anyone has been referred in Birmingham and might be able to tell me what to expect I would be so grateful as I’m a bit scared!

I'm not entirely sure about your specific hospital but if a biopsy is taken it will need to be examined

When I had this done I had to go back a week later and assume this is the norm
