🤢 the others seem fine enough but it’s been sharing a bag… to peel and eat or to bin?

What is this on my potato?

I always get these...no idea what they are. I just chop it off.

JanglingJack · 29/06/2024 18:05

Just chop that bit off, good to go.

Happyearlyretirement · 29/06/2024 18:07

It’s where the diggers blades have hit it, chop off and use as normal

Yep digger blade, cut around it and remove it, it’s no big deal at all.

it's just caught on the digger most likely, I cut it off and use the rest.

dudsville · 29/06/2024 18:24

I want to joke that this is it's mouth.... but it's just from when it was dug up, as others have said.

SkiingIsHeaven · 29/06/2024 18:50

Corn has ears; your potato has a mouth by the looks of it.

KnickerlessParsons · 29/06/2024 18:57

Digger, or spade if it was dug by hand. Just cut it out and eat the potato.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 29/06/2024 21:15

From what I can make out, it would appear to be a thumb and a finger.

ScottBakula · 29/06/2024 21:49

Yep , as pp said just a digger just trying to get a bite to eat.
It's fine for you to chop it off and eat the rest.

Tbh I am surprised that you haven't seen it before.

@PelvicFloorClenchReminder that made me laugh.
