Best eco disposable plates/cups?

Had some bamboo ones in the past but they seemed quite splintery. Need to get some more and would like to get some that are recyclable or compostable and will sacrifice the nice colour/pattern to do so. Anywhere in particular good or any recommendations?

Do you want to re-use them? If not then the bagasse plates are usually pretty good.

Not looking to reuse them/will have to buy too many to keep.

I've used Biofuture for cups before and found their paper cups to be really good if you're looking for a large quantity. They're fully compostable and have some nice toned down colour options. Not sure if they do plates, but I agree with SeeingRainbowsInTheGloom - I bought some bagasse plates a while ago and they were good.

We bought these ones https://www.bio-future.co.uk/product-page/single-wall-hot-cup-green
