Weird guest behaviour?

Ok, I’m fully prepared to be told that I am unreasonable here but just wanted to get some thoughts on this.
I stayed with some friends for a night after a party at their place, and one other guy stayed over as well. The next morning he was just walking around the place in underwear as if it was the most normal thing in the whole world which I found really odd. Our friends didn’t seem bothered or surprised by one them laughed when she saw my face so I must have looked quite stupid. Surely I’m not the only one who thinks that this is weird behaviour when staying at someone’s house? They have a dc too and dc was the only one who asked him why he wasn’t wearing any pyjamas.
Maybe I’m a prude but I did not feel overly comfortable to sit next to a half naked man that only met the previous day. Surely others find this strange? I just feel confused because the others didn’t seem bothered by it at all.

Hang on, their place or yours?

DustyLee123 · 28/06/2024 20:23

If there’s kids there he should wear shorts and T-shirt

Icanttakethisanymore · 28/06/2024 20:23

Hmmm, A man in underwear is no different to a man in shorts topless so it’s not something I’d personally get upset about.

Their place, but he was a guest too. I know it’s not a big deal but I just found it strange

So did he sit in the lounge / kitchen having breakfast in his pants ?

Sookafatwan · 28/06/2024 20:46

Was he buff/tattoo ridden?

Towerofsong · 28/06/2024 20:47

I'd find that weird, and disrespectful. Nobody needs to see that.

It’s really not. Underwear and shorts cover things very differently and with different degrees of peril attached.

Wearing pants to go to the bathroom would be relaxed but normal in my view, sitting down for breakfast is another matter.

Was he buff/tattoo ridden?

Bingo. But I’m not sure if it makes much of a difference.

A man in his pants is no different to a man in shorts? Providing they weren’t budgie smugglers? 🤮🤮
Having said that, I don’t think I’d like it. I prefer to dine with clothed people, irrelevant of sex.

leeverarch · 28/06/2024 21:44

You don't saunter about in your pants in someone else's house. Ew.

Justleaveitblankthen · 28/06/2024 21:49

Grim.
What sort of keks were they? Those snug designer ones with the white waistband hopefully.

If it was Boxers, his hands would have been permanently cupping.
It's some sort of obligation 🤨
