Anyone got campsite recommendations for around Forest of Dean?

Hello!

Any chance anyone has recommendations for campsites in the Forest of Dean area? It’s last minute for this weekend, doesn’t need to be anything fancy!

or if not, any good campsite platforms to search on?

Thank you!

And… the MN Camping Board!

I'd suggest Whitemead Forest Park but if you need it this weekend it's unlikely you'll find a pitch. If you get a chance to try it definitely go as the campsite is fab and it has a great pool, a bit of a mini Centre Parcs but much cheaper.

We stayed here https://www.forestandwyevalleycamping.co.uk/ - it was a lovely site, would recommend.

Have also stayed at a site in Newent a couple of times (not quite FOD, but close). Also the site v close to the Wildfowl centre at Slimbridge is v good (not quite the forest, but also close).

Forest and Wye Valley Camping Site

This family run site has excellent facilities and is very close to the many different amenities you may need to make your stay perfect

Thanks! I don’t think I knew there was a MN camping board!

This looks good! I will look at the others too, it doesn’t have to be exactly in Forest of Dean, just that kind of area. Thanks

Thanks I have looked up Bracelands! Are there any smaller campsites does anyone know? Only found really big ones which are probably really busy!
