The JD and person spec and what the pharmacy team do/are involved in. Anticipate Qs from the person spec and use the STAR technique to answer. Good luck

Thank you Alexandra...any ideas about Microsoft word/Excel test?

Could be anything from macros to pivot tables in excel and mail merge to tracking changes in word. Depends what the JD stipulates I guess

They will probably ask you to look at a letter sent to a patient which has mistakes in and correct the mistakes and the excel test will probably be they'll give you info and you have to put in a table format. I've done a few of these, if you're semi literate with Microsoft you'll be able to do it. Also look at the values for the Trust and learn them. They might be looking for that. Learn a little bit about the department if you can. Good luck!

Also have a look at the Trust values, think about how your role can feed into supporting those who deliver patient care if not delivering direct patient care yourself, and maybe have a look at something like the NHS medicines a to z in case some of the terminology is very technical. Good luck!

Definitely look at the trust values…most interviews in my trust are values based now
