I've been diagnosed with flexural psoriasis, so please tell me more about it.

So after two GPs (who misdiagnosed me) and one dermatologist consultation (online with photographs via my local trust) I've been diagnosed with flexural psoriasis. Overall this is the diagnosis that makes most sense given symptoms, appearance, and that it improves with sunshine.

I've been given a list of ointments and routine to try for the next 3 weeks. So my questions are, is it easy to control? Will it come back? How do you handle working out with it? Do I shower after every workout? (I sweat a lot!)

Have psoriasis. Depends on type as to what you use. It's genetic so no cure. Sunshine always helps. Coal tar eg vosene, coal tar soap. See what works for you. You also produce more skin shedding so watch eyes and try not to let it get out of control with big areas.
