Anyone had liposuction (including non surgical)

Anyone had any type of lipo in the past including non surgical? What was your results like? Did you get the body you wanted? What was recovery like? Did you have to do more than one session (if non surgical)? Was it worth it? Did you get it done abroad or in your own country? Was it expensive? Did you save or do payment plan? Were you at your ideal weight) if you had it done 5+ years did the results last?

seriously considering this as a last resort if I’m not lean once I lose a stone and get to goal weight

You got enough advice about the inadvisability of this on your other thread.

Ihopeithinkiknow · 27/06/2024 01:22

You will never get the body you want because you will always find something else wrong. From the photos I have seen on your other thread there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way you look but I think you need to address other issues because it can't be healthy to be this fixated on how you look. We all grow old and have bits we don't like but most people don't make it their whole personality.

You seriously need help

SquashPenguin · 27/06/2024 06:30

I had it done. Honestly? It was a total waste of money. It was over ten years ago now so I rarely give it any thought, but it was a waste of time. I had to have it done again to rectify a load of bumps I was left with as well. I was 25, a healthy weight, very active and sporty but couldn’t shift the last bit of tummy fat. I thought it would be what I needed to finally get the figure I wanted and it made not one bit of difference! I don’t recommend it.

nothingcomestonothing · 27/06/2024 07:32

OP once again, get mental health support. You post these vacuous threads and get told versions of the same thing over and over -put your energy into your child and your own mental wellbeing, and stop obsessing about trivial shit.

The stuff you obsess about will never make you happy. There will always be someone thinner, someone with more SM followers, someone with better hair or more money or more luck or a cuter dog. Get support and live your life.

@PlatinumBlondeBarbie will you pay attention to this example? And what @nothingcomestonothing said, there will ALWAYS be someone more (conventionally) attractive than you, no matter what you do.

Try to think about why you are so obsessed with your looks. I get it, I have been there. We grow up conditioned to think we have to fit the 'perfect' image of a woman. But it's a method of controlling us. As soon as you let go of these ridiculous and unachievable ideals, you will start living.

KevinDeBrioche · 27/06/2024 09:14

Please listen to the other posters. You don’t need liposuction you DO need therapy.

Upinthenightagain · 27/06/2024 09:21

I’ve had it done with my tummy tuck. Both are a waste of money. The liposuction kills off fat cells where you have it done so it means when you put weight on it goes in weird places like your back

BMW6 · 27/06/2024 09:23

FFS not you again!

You are NEVER going to be satisfied with how you look no matter what you do and how much you spend because your real problem is mental not physical.

Look at Katie Price. Her life is an absolute wreck and she cannot stop having surgery after surgery. None of it ever achieves what she wants because she thinks "fixing" her outside will fix her inside.

I hope she hasn't passed her hang-ups onto her children or they'll have a miserable life as well.

Now you have a child think of him and don't do the same.

aesoplover · 27/06/2024 09:30

My friends mum had it done and died.

HTH.

TheShellBeach · 27/06/2024 10:49

Bump?
🤣

abracadabra1980 · 27/06/2024 15:17

I know two people who've had it done and both have put weight back on again but in weird places. Now lumpy and bumpy. Waste of time and money.

PlatinumBlondeBarbie · 27/06/2024 19:11

Lipo is a last resort for me. I would only get it done if diet and exercise didn’t give me the results I want. I know I’ll never have a long upper body but I can make it appear longer and leaner through diet and exercise but if I still had stubborn fat then I would get it done. I want to do more weight lifting and some cardio which will help burn fat but if I build muscle as I lose fat that will really help. Good thing with me is I can build muscle easily so might as well take advantage of that while I’m still decently young as that will serve me well throughout life and I find exercise lifts my mood so it’s amazing for mental health too

Nothing negative said to you on this thread has deterred you, has it?

You'll have it done anyway.

Why do you want a longer leaner body? What does it matter? It's of no consequence IMO.

BMW6 · 27/06/2024 20:16

Jeez I pity your DH and child.

whyamisotiredallthetime · 27/06/2024 20:22

Why do you ignore every single comment that pleads for you to get some help?
Can you not see that a tonne load of strangers care more about your mental health than the length of your torso ?
