My 4yr old DS finished and had a little graduation party today from his preschool. He has ASD and a significant speech delay and his teacher, keyworker and the other staff in the room have done such an amazing job this year with him. I've seen massive improvements in my wee man and whilst he's still very much behind his peers in communicating and will be attending a SEN school for P1, they have done so much work with him and offered so much support for me to help him at home.
No real point to the post other than I'm feeling sad today that we've had to say goodbye to these people who over the last academic year have played such a significant role in shaping and growing my baby boy. Anyone else feeling the same?
