Hey everyone made post 2 weeks back about a incident when the condom broke twice when having sex with a guy I was speaking to here's a little update from then need some advise !

From the last post the guy offered to do a sexual health test so I was assured he was clean and I was going to do one also he offered to order the test at my home and then he would come over to do it with me he made an account on the SHL website for the free testing I gave him my address and he ordered it he sent me proof of this through what's app pictures when he ordered it and it said it would be on the way. This was 9th June he ordered it long story short the test never arrived assuming he ordered it to the wrong place

He offered to order it again which he sent me proof of that he did ordered it again I told him why is it not easier to order at his house he said bec of work he will miss the delivery and there's no way of it going through the letter box so I said okay he ordered this on Friday 21st still nothing he showered me that they messaged him that the test should have arrived or soon to arrive but I haven't seen anything . I told him I need to see a screenshot of the address he has on the account i feel like he's sending me around in circles or am I just overthinking !

I already did the sti test which was clear but I was advised the std are from 45days to have an accurate test

Well it generally isn't that difficult to order something online and get it delivered. I imagine he has no problem receiving other items he orders online that he actually wants. He's playing you.

@Lindy2 yeah definitely because the first time things can happen post can get lost or he could have misspelled the address but the second time is weird I don't trust it at all I just have to hope for the best just waiting for the weeks to run off so I can do my own test

How bizarre, just do your own test and forget him.

Second what PP has said he's got a wife or girlfriend and doesn't want them finding out.

Just repeat your test when the appropriate amount of time has passed to be sure of incubation and block this guy.

It’s embarrassing that you’re clutching at straws here to try and salvage something with a man who is behaving in such a farcical way.

Also, the test through the post don’t test for every possible STI, usually they’re just chlamydia swabs, you need a blood test for hiv, syphilis and hep b too. Just book an appointment at a proper GU medicine clinic.

@SlugGloves the shl test does test for everything bec you do a swap and home blood test finger prick

Why can’t you order your own test or even better just visit a clinic?

Just go to a clinic and it's straight forward.

@Glitterb I can't do one yet it won't be accurate for chlamydia and gonorrhoea it's 2 weeks however HIV is 45days and syphilis is I think 3 months or something so what I was going to do was make him do one so I know from the time of sex he was fine so I wouldn't be worrying so much I would have still got mine done but what's the point of the window is 45days for hiv and more

He doesn't give a shit about any of this, OP. He isn't going to take a test because he doesn't care (and may, as others have said, be married). You need to get your own tests sorted and forget about him. You can't force him to get tested and you can't force him to be interested in your health.

I'm pretty sure the tests come in a package that fits through the letterbox.

He's even given me his user Id to call them and ask what's happening with the kits so I don't know unless this guy is just very smart and calculated or maybe he is being honest

Maybe he's lying / married / a head fuck , maybe he isn't .

All that matters is you and your health , so put him out of your head and look after yourself .

@memyselfi my priority, is my health of course I never said I wasn't going to do my own test however he offered to do a test to ease my mind so I know that at the time of intercourse he was fine as I recently had one done anyway so I know I was okay. Do you know the window of tested for STDs is 45 days and over STIs are two weeks.
Menaa and his status what at least call me down or know what's coming. I never said I was never going to do my own test the test is inaccurate unless you wait the full 4 weeks

Just order your own test or if you're in the uk boots have them behind the pharmacy counter( I got one for my son recently. You're texted the results
Or simply go to your nearest clinic
Don't keep contacting the bloke.
My guess is he doesn't want to get it sent to your address as he's in a relationship
Take responsibility for your own health, sexual or otherwise.
