Head covering at gurdwara

DS (13) is visiting the gurdwara tomorrow as part of a school visit. He needs to take a piece of cloth to wear as head covering. Are any colours more appropriate than others?

Any colour is fine. A wide scarf eg in black would work.

Large white handkerchief.

My son just wore a plain scarf over his head. To add, the Gurdwara is a lovely trip. They are so welcoming and it's very interesting. I hope he gets to try some amazing food too. I have visited several times with school and it's always a lovely experience. I hope he enjoys it!

Thanks. He had a great visit, apparently the grandfather of one of his classmates led the tour and they were served delicious food. He has come back with great Sikhi knowledge so a successful visit 😀
