I'm a Londonder if this helps act as a reference point.

Going to visit the city with DD16 as she's done with GCSEs.

What's it like?

It's a great city, love it. Loads of great food, shopping etc
Depends what you are both into but I introduced my DD and her friends to Afflecks Palace and became the coolest Mum ever

Good shopping, museums, galleries, restaurants, music scene, things to do.
Great for people watching.
What's she into.
Where are you staying?

Tram system excellent and tickets cheap.
Stadium tours interesting if she's in to football.
Salt & Pepper Chicken opposite Arndale Centre very popular and delicious.
