London-based Mumsnetters, could I ask for your recommendations? I’m bringing my lovely SIL in a few weeks time for a day out. I’d like to take her to a nice brunch or non-traditional afternoon tea, followed by maybe some shopping and then drinks or a last minute show or some sort of entertainment in the evening. Does anyone have any recommendations for something more unusual or new they might recommend? We love any sort of Asian food, and have looked at Sexy Fish (bad reviews) and Hakassan (great reviews). Or potentially the afternoon tea at the Ivy Asia?
Recommendations for a nice bar or rooftop terrace in the evening or somewhere like Circus where there is a show with drinks would be great. I know there’s a place in Shoreditch that’s like a jail - we are up for anything that looks fun! Thank you all!
