I’ve been up for 20 nearly 21 hours now. My youngest wakes a lot she’s 6mo she is ebf and when she wakes or a night just wants to feed to go back to sleep. I put her in her cot aslee then she wakes not long sfter

ive been up since early yesterday as my toddler got up early and didn’t nap

im on my knees exhausted what are some good foods I can have that provide good energy because I can’t drink energy drinks

what are some tips people have because I don’t think my son was like this sleep wise if my daughter doesn’t go down in the next few hours I’ve been awake a full day

she won’t go down at all tonight wakes every single time I place her down so I haven’t slept I’m so tired

I don't know what to say other than big hugs, I've been here. My DS never slept, I used to sob with tiredness. Would you consider combo feeding?

Do you have a partner? Could he drive her round in the car for a bit so you can sleep??

Would you consider mix feeding or a dummy?

sleepi · 25/06/2024 06:31

She won’t take a dummy :( I’m basically a dummy she ‘feeds’ focomfort to go back asleep she’ll wake crying and root on me then feed for 5 mins or less and sleep and repeat

i do want to switch to bottles because I’m so upset I have an older child too I just feel so wiped

Is there any way your partner could go to her instead and settle her. She associates you with milk and comfort but may not bother waking if she thinks she won't get either.

It might be a tough few nights though while she learns a new routine.

I do want to switch to formula but don’t know how because we’re months into bf

and I think how will she sleep she feeds to have her (short stretch’s) sleep now but when she’s on formula will she just use a bottle to sleep
