A bit worried

Basically my daughter 2 has brusies on her leg they disappeared and they came back. So I took her to the doctor's. Basically she had to have blood tests. They want to do more tests ect. Then the doctor basically said we have to consider other reasons why the bruises may have happened. Like child abuse. I feel like I'm being accused of something and I'm really worried.

If a GP said that to me, I would think they were doing more testing to look at the way DD's blood clots. Or something else medical. Not child abuse!

Whatever it is, OP, I hope it's something that is easily resolved.

It's because the doctor said to
Me we have to consider child abuse that's why I'm worried. xx

Are you worried that they will wrongly accuse you of child abuse, or whether there has actually been child abuse that you are not aware of?

Just worried of being accused of this based on what the doctor has said. Ive also Googled simualer situations to this and it's gone down this route as well. xx

Let's wait until the bloodwork comes back. There may be something medical that makes DD prone to bruising. Best to find that out so that they can help her.

Sending good wishes.

I mean, the doctor literally said child abuse so I'm not sure how you'd interpret that as only medical reasoning.

Sorry to hear of this OP. You must be worried sick. How old is your child? Is it only these two bruises?

She has bruises on her lower legs there is a lot but she is very active soft play climbing walking running around. Yes I'm not sleeping. She had her two and a half review today and I just broke down in tears. The healthworker said she seems like a very happy little girl and the bruises are not in unsaual places. The health worker doesn't seem concerned. Its a few other things the doctor has said. My daughter is very fussy with food. All she wants is garlic bread chips basically junk. I'm filming meal times now so they can see she won't eat veg beans potato. Because the doctor said that's a sign of neglect xx
