Is it actually worth all the hype and money? I feel like I have Fomo even though I am not really a fan of her music. Even Prince William seemed to be loving it by his dance moves 😂

I have! It was genuinely incredible. Getting to see the songs I've grown up with for almost 20 years live was just fantastic - it was a proper experience of a concert, just so well done. It was impressive to watch Taylor sing / dance / interact with the crowds for over 3 hours, props to her - my feet were knackered at the end and I wasn't doing half as much 😂

The staging and show was amazing, it lasted for such a good amount of time I totally got wrapped up in the songs and had the best night. The atmosphere was second to none, everyone was so friendly, having fun / bracelet trading / enjoying themselves. It was lovely to see everyone's outfits and all of the fun people were having, it was like a giant girls night out and just fab.

If you're not into Taylor Swift then obviously it's probably not for you, but saying that I think the atmosphere is just electric and anyone could enjoy it.

Wow 3 hours that's a line time!

Me! Fantastic!

(the queues for the loos tho!)

I can’t believe she does it three days straight- she is super human.

everyone on stage looks like they are having a whale of a time.

just watch the concert on Disney. Close to the loos and your own bed - bliss !

And goes out to Chiltern Firehouse afterwards 🤪🤪. Looks fab. I saw the Reputation tour but anyone I know who saw this said it’s incredible. I might try and get tickets for August when she comes back

JamShedOccupant · 24/06/2024 19:51

It was absolutely amazing, I’ve seen it three times and noticed something different every night.

thedendrochronologist · 24/06/2024 19:52

Me!

It's fab! I feel like a cool person for once. I'm usually sat at home with FOMO.

She is an icon truly.

I'm not a massive swifty. I loved love story and the whole of the 1989 album but my friends daughter is obsessed so we somehow got tickets (it's an absolute mission!)

It's incredible show and experience.

She sounds phenomenal live.

Watch the eras tour on Netflix!

@mountaingoatsarehairy i am channelling you! So much so I thought your post was mine Grin

I mean Disney plus

Swiftie69 · 24/06/2024 19:55

It's amazing and worth the 300 quid I spent on my ticket

mountaingoatsarehairy · 24/06/2024 20:06

@thedendrochronologist yup very similar.

Also I was v impressed how she would sing ‘oh we need some help here, at front, can we get someone’ about five times when the poor people at the front fainted.

thedendrochronologist · 24/06/2024 20:08

Paid £190

Pedallleur · 24/06/2024 20:25

I haven't but I am interested in how it works, the staging, lighting etc. Have to say the show as a theatrical event is prob as good as it gets. That stage she walks on with its lights and images or that mirrored platform that moves and spins. It's all on YT? but I was struck how the artist carry it off. She owns it in the same way that Springsteen or Jagger does and Mercury did. Those artists transcend all the stuff around them and it becomes part of them. No expense seems to have been spared. All too big and out of my price range for me but it's a show you will look back on and say I was there

heretodestroyyou · 24/06/2024 20:32

I don't understand why you'd want to go if you're not a fan tbh. Yes it's amazing and an incredible production but surely only if you love the music.

Toddlerteaplease · 24/06/2024 21:02

She's been round for 20 years? Never heard of her until this year.

How strange. Yes - I’ve loved her since the Red album and the country stuff that predates that. Red and 1989 are excellent albums imo. Im
50 btw. 😉

She's been around a veeerrry long time, that's how she built this phenomenon

Years of making music and touring.

OP I don't get why you'd want to go if you're not a fan. You mention Prince William but wasn't he also a fan back when colleagues were asking me what I was listening to 😂

I dunno, it wouldn't mean anything to me to sit through 3.5 hours of an artist whose work I didn't know and love.

I hope they show the film at the cinema again.

housemaus · 25/06/2024 23:45

I've been twice - once with a friend, once to take my niece. It was incredible, but I've been a fan since I was a teenager. I'm not sure why you'd go to a gig of an artist you weren't a fan of, though!

@Pedallleur I'm really hoping she's filming something about the process of making such a huge/long/production-heavy show work - it's fascinating to me. I want to see the logistics of all the sets, the costume changes, etc!
