Does anyone take the combined pill without a break?

Sorry I posted another thread yesterday about bad hormone headaches on my period. I’m posting another one today rather than comment on my other thread because I thought I’d get more answers.

I want to try and take the pill for 3 or so months without a break to reduce the number of periods I have in a year. I have endo so my periods are painful but my PMS is always unbearable too. I have scheduled it so that I come on on a Friday and my worst days are over the weekend so that I don’t have to call in sick to work. But my symptoms do last about a week.

The problem is, even though I’m on the pill, my body still prepares for coming on and knows when I’m due on. When I have about 2 pills left in the pack I start getting PMS symptoms before I’ve even started my break. My boobs gets extremely sore, the cramps start, insane hunger and moodiness. So I feel like I have to take the break for the relief. I’ve tried pushing through and just starting a new pack but gave up half way through and let myself come on because the persistent PMS was too much. Does anyone know if I do just push through will the PMS subside and go away?

Yes I do. I would persist and see if it settles or if you need a change. I've constantly run packs together for 3 years as I get the most awful periods and the break you have isn't physically required - it was scheduled as the (male) developers of the pill thought women psychologically needed a period.
