I had a trip yesterday, big bump on the head, some grazes and a very swollen painful finger.
It was obvious it needed attention but didn't seem to be an emergency to me, so I waited to come to minor injuries once it opened today.
The nurse has just literally shouted at me for being so stupid as to wait 18 hours to seek help.
So should I have gone to A&E on the busiest afternoon of the week?
