I had lined up a buyer, found the new house and was almost ready to cross the point of no return when out buyer pulled out.
I’m so upset. This has been years in the making between covid, multiple health issues and surgeries, a difficult finance situation and then significant repairs that made an otherwise lovely flat very difficult to sell. And just when I thought everything was finally coming together after a huge effort on the part of my estate agent, mortgage broker, solicitor and me, it all went to shit abruptly.
I wish I believed that things work out the way they’re supposed to, but I honestly don’t. Otherwise why do so many people have terrible luck (especially far worse than this).
I would love to be distracted with some uplifting stories of how things worked out despite every sign pointing to the contrary, if you have any!
